The Association is a non-profit Veterans Organization, chartered in the State of California in 1946, to operate the Marines’ Memorial Club in the City as a “living memorial” to pay tribute to the military Veterans who have served our Country in wars. All donations to the Association are tax deductible per the IRS because the Marines’ Memorial Association complies fully with IRC 170(c)(3) of the US Tax Code, as an IRC 501(c)(19) Veterans Organization
