Enjoyed celebrating my 29 ++ birthday here (all right … 49 years young) with three fellow officers. The Athletic Club of Columbus is celebrating their 100th Anniversary this year – It’s easy to see how they’ve been in business for such a long time in this beautiful building.
Our bar tender was a Navy man – Great to get reconnected for both he and our group. After drinks in their Happy Hour – Library on the first deck, we enjoyed a great ambiance in the main dining room —- Not sure why we were the only ones dining there this evening, but made for a very wonderful experience. The food and service was absolutely fantastic. Having a very rich (and low calorie – right?) chocolate birthday cake after some of the most reasonably priced (and terrific selection) of wines —- well, I’m still having to work this weight off. Glad their facility allows for such a great work out as well.
Absolutely incredible experience — Be sure to enjoy this reciprocal club!
