Our San Francisco hotel has been part of the community since 1946 displaying a commitment to the Club, its members, valued guests and the environment. We recognize the importance of preserving our environment and have taken numerous measures to be one of the leading green hotels in San Francisco. Our staff is committed to the conservation of the environment and they are continuously seeking new ways to improve our sustainability measures.

We Reduce

Our Mitsubishi Mr. Slim AC-Heat is the most energy efficient AC-heater on the market today

We purchase in bulk when possible including bulk bath amenities

We use non-toxic biodegradable cleaning and laundry supplies

We have a paperless front office policy

We have bulk water service for employees and hotel guests

We offer low flow faucets and shower heads

We have energy efficient public lighting

We participate in City Steam Service to conserve energy

Our green San Francisco hotel appliances are energy star compliant

We use biodegradable to-go cups, containers and paper supplies

We purchase food from local organic suppliers when possible

We try to have the least possible deliveries

We monitor utility use through lighting & equipment controls

Bedding & towel re-use program for stay over guests

We reuse office paper and print both sides when possible

We use Cloth towels in restrooms

We donate unused food to non-profit food banks including Food Runners*

We recycle Plastic/Glass/Paper/Cardboard/Soap
