LtCol Chris Starling's "China in Africa" |
Colonel Starling was selected as a Fellow for the Hoover Institute after commanding a Battalion Landing Team of Marines and Sailors on his fifth deployment to the Persian Gulf in July 2007. While deployed in Africa, he noted the increasing role and influence of China, and decided to research China's role in Africa during his year at the Hoover Institute. He will share his findings and observations during the program. |
